Justin Bieber: Screaming fans make my day

Justin Bieber has revealed his fans make his “day brighter”.
The 16-year-old pop sensation has attracted followers from all over the world since he first set the charts alight. Although many celebrities find it difficult to live in the public spotlight and deal with fame, Justin insists he loves every minute of it.
The singer still can’t believe so many fans travel long distances or wait hours to catch a glimpse of him and he has revealed their devotion never fails to boost his spirits.
“It’s kind of crazy that my fans get up so early to see me and they are out there screaming. I would like to thank them for waiting in the cold,” Justin said during an interview on British television show Daybreak. “My fans definitely make my day brighter.
“The first time it really happened was when I was at MuchMusic in Canada, there were thousands of girls outside and it was crazy. I wasn’t frightened, I thought it was awesome.”
Justin went on to reveal he would love to be handcuffed to Beyoncé Knowles for day, before insisting he hasn’t always been a hit with the opposite sex. When asked if a girl has ever rejected his advances he replied, “Yes, a girl has turned me down. What was her name? I don’t remember.”
The heartthrob also discussed his new record and his love of touring. Justin says performing live for his fans is the best thing about being a singer and he loves being on stage.
“I am really excited about my new album because I was able to express myself. It’s acoustic and it’s really intimate with the fans,” he explained. “My voice is definitely changing, I can feel it, but I have a really great vocal coach and she helps me with everything. It’s not going to suddenly drop, or anything.
“I love touring and seeing my fans, I love performing. I love the energy and being able to sing for my fans.”

Katy Perry: My tour will engage all the senses

Katy Perry is looking into “alternative stuff” for her upcoming tour.
The 26-year-old pop star will embark on the California Dreams Tour next year, which will see her performing for fans across the globe.
Katy is very much looking forward to the spectacular shows, and is busy working out ways to make them really stand out. Katy is accustomed to adding kooky and unexpected elements to her work, as she famously used a scratch n’ sniff for the sleeve of her album Teenage Dream.
“It'll be really fun, very visual and, like I said, engaging all the senses. We're looking into alternative stuff, like a couple of companies who are helping us make the aroma of what you kind of smell on the CD,” she told British newspaper The Sun.
Katy plans to collaborate with the tour producer who worked on singer Pink’s Funhouse Tour last year. Katy was impressed with the acrobatic elements of Pink’s shows, and also appreciated how sincere and authentic her performances were.
"I'm working with a fantastic tour producer called Baz. He was instrumental in Pink's tour, the one where she was doing trapeze and acrobatics.
"I'm not saying I'd necessarily go down that road, but the reason why I decided to work with him on this tour is because, when I saw her performance in Australia, it wasn't just a regular club, dance party pop performance. It had a lot of heart in it too,” enthused Katy.

Pregnant Mariah Carey still working hard

Pregnant Mariah Carey still working hard

Mariah Carey was “really energetic” during a recording for the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade.
The singing sensation is expecting her first child with television personality husband Nick Cannon, so when she performed at the famous Parade in Orlando recently many expected her to be taking it easier than usual.
But ever the professional, Mariah didn’t let her pregnancy get in the way of her show as she proudly showed off her baby bump in a festive red outfit.
She reportedly even spent time swapping moves with dancers from the Orlando Ballet.
"She was really energetic," a backstage source told People. "She had definite ideas about what she wanted onstage, and she was working really hard."
Mariah’s performance will air on America’s ABC network on Christmas morning, where she will be seen belting out classics such as Oh Santa and her iconic festive tune All I Want for Christmas is You.
Dancers from the Orlando Ballet were thrilled to get the chance to hang out with the talented singer. She appeared to be on top form, and took the time to give autographs and pose for photos.
"She wasn't really talkative or anything, but she was really pleasant," one of the dancers enthused. "She's a real pro."
